Backup Outlook Express Emails
Microsoft Outlook Express is the light-weight email client. It is known for its speed of sending/receiving emails. However, one other thing that goes with Outlook Express is corruption to the DBX files (here, user’s emails, contacts, notes, drafts, sent items, etc. are stored).
To beat the situations arising due to DBX corruption, taking backup of DBX files is always suggested. Here, we tell you how to backup Outlook Express emails with required graphics, so that you can easily backup Outlook Express emails. To backup of Outlook Express data, execute the below given steps:

Launch MS Outlook Express. To do this, click Start > All Programs > Outlook Express:

Main Window of Outlook Express opens up. Here, click Options in the Tools menu:

The “Options” dialog box appears. Here, select the Maintenance tab:

Click the Store Folder button. The “Store Location” dialog box opens up:

Here, copy the location given in the “Your personal message store is located in the following folder” box.

Click the Cancel button to close the “Store Location” dialog box.

Click the Cancel button to close the “Options” dialog box.

Now, click Start > Run. The “Run” dialog box opens up:

Place the mouse cursor in the Open combo box and press CTRL + V.

Press the OK button. You will see all DBX files keeping your Outlook Express emails.

Place cursor anywhere in the area showing DBX files and press CTRL + A.

Press CTRL + C.

Move to the computer’s desktop or drive where you want to create the backup folder.

Create a folder and give it a name like Outlook Express Backup Folder.

Open the folder.

Place mouse cursor anywhere in the folder and press CTRL + V.
